Why Binder for automotive

Cycle windows that waste no second.

In the automotive industry the line never stops — and if it does, it gets expensive. We know the pressure of cycle windows, the reality of contractual penalties and the demand for seamless documentation. As a family business since 1992, now in its third generation and AEO-C certified, we combine port proximity, our own fleet and over 14,000 m² of storage into automotive logistics that stays plannable.

OEM sequencing

We pick and sequence parts exactly in your line order. Just-in-sequence means: the right part, in the right order, at the right minute on the line.

JIT plant delivery

Tight cycle windows, fixed time slots, digital notification. Our own fleet handles plant deliveries on time — so contractual penalties never arise in the first place.

Container management

Mesh boxes, small load carriers and special containers in circulation: we manage full goods, empties and cleaning so your container accounts stay clean.

How we work

Consolidation, sequencing, plant delivery — from a single source.

The most expensive truck is the half-empty one. That is why we bundle shipments from several suppliers in our hall into a single plant truck. This supplier consolidation lowers your freight cost per part, reduces the number of ramp contacts at your plant and makes your inbound flow more predictable. We handle goods receipt, booking-in and visual quality checks, document every step and report deviations immediately — before they become a problem on your line.

For JIT/JIS logistics, every minute counts. We pick against your call-offs, sequence the assemblies exactly in line order and deliver within your cycle windows. Our own fleet and fixed driver teams ensure time slots are kept and that contractual penalties for line stoppages never arise. For overseas parts we use our location right at the Container Terminal Bremerhaven: vessel tracking, slot booking and truck dispatch interlock so imported parts enter the material flow without demurrage days.

Around every part flow sits container management. Mesh boxes, small load carriers and customer-specific containers run in a loop — we manage full and empty goods, keep container accounts clean and organise cleaning and provisioning. Combined with our AEO-C certification, over 14,000 m² of storage at the Am Lunedeich 169 and Labradorstraße 31 sites and customs clearance of imported parts, you get automotive logistics owned end to end from the seaport to the plant ramp.

Frequently asked

Automotive logistics — briefly explained.

What does JIT/JIS mean?

JIT stands for just-in-time: parts arrive exactly when they are needed — without buffer stock on your line. JIS stands for just-in-sequence: parts additionally arrive in exactly the order in which they are fitted on the line. Both reduce inventory and handling and demand maximum on-time performance.

How quickly can you provide capacity?

After a short alignment call on volume, cycle windows and container types, you usually get feedback within a few hours on whether and from when we can provide the capacity. Over 14,000 m² of storage and our own fleet give us headroom.

Do you handle customs clearance for imported parts?

Yes. As an AEO-C certified operation we handle customs clearance of imported parts including T1 issuance right at the Container Terminal Bremerhaven — so overseas parts enter your material flow without demurrage days.

Which region do you deliver to?

From Bremerhaven we supply plants across the DACH region in day trips. Via consolidated plant trucks and JIT/JIS delivery we connect sites in Germany, Austria and Switzerland on time.

How does connection to our plant work?

We firmly align cycle windows, time slots and notification with your planning team. We process call-offs digitally, sequence in line order and deliver within your time windows to the plant ramp — including empties collection on the same loop.
