The Story

We pass on values.
Not dusty processes.

We combine the reliability of a family business since 1992 with digital processes — from shipment tracking to customs clearance.

Third Generation

From timber forwarder to logistics partner for industry.

Founded in 1992 in Ried im Innkreis (Austria), the Binder Group grew as a classic specialist for timber transport. A company where a person's word still counted and where everyone pitched in when things got critical on the road.

Today we manage our entire day-to-day business centrally from our site at Labradorstraße 31 in Bremerhaven — right at the gateway to the world. Reliability and short decision paths run deep with us. But the market demands more today.

With the arrival of the third generation, we are digitalising our processes step by step: interfaces to our customers' IT systems, digital shipment tracking and forward-looking capacity planning. This is how we now work as equals with the procurement heads of European OEMs.

"Tradition is not the keeping of the ashes, but the passing on of the flame."

Culture

Our Code.

No corporate platitudes, but our daily principles for action.

01

Careful Planning

Every transport problem is a system that can be optimised. We analyse processes, identify bottlenecks and design more efficient routes.

02

Reliability

Reliability today means more than a punctual truck. It means proactive communication, clean data and absolute transparency.

03

Straight Talk

If something won't work, we say so. If there's a snag, we solve it before the customer calls. We value direct, pragmatic communication.

Case Study

Partnership with Parkett Hinterseer.

How a logistics inquiry became Binder's largest single customer relationship.

No. 1
Binder's largest single customer relationship
01
Initial Situation

Hinterseer — one of the leading providers of parquet and flooring in Europe — was looking for a reliable logistics partner for its supply chain in the North German region. Crucial factors were: proximity to the ports, experience with bulky goods, high on-time delivery and individual support.

02
Solution

Binder gradually took over the complete warehouse, handling and transport logistics for the region — including customs and import processing via Bremerhaven, storage and picking of large volumes and a personal contact with a direct line to dispatch.

03
Result

High on-time delivery, integration of additional services such as exclusive storage areas, highest customer satisfaction according to regular feedback — and expansion into Binder's largest single customer relationship.
